When you sign up, we collect basic details such as your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form). Organisation details are optional.
Bugasura is a collaboration and bug-reporting tool. Anything you upload or enter into the platform—bug reports, screenshots, attachments, logs, notes, comments, or other data—is treated as your content. You control what you add.
We collect limited technical data to operate and improve the product. This may include IP address, browser type, device type, timestamps, API usage, crash logs, and feature interactions. This helps us keep the service stable and secure.
We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and product analytics. You may disable them in your browser, but some features may not work as expected.
We use your information to run the platform: create accounts, store your content, display your projects, enable collaboration, run integrations, and provide search and indexing.

We share information only with service providers who help us run Bugasura—such as hosting partners, analytics tools, security systems, and AI processing services. These providers are contractually required to keep your information confidential and secure.

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure provided by our hosting partners. All application data, metadata, files, and backups are maintained on Amazon Cloud servers located in India and other regions as needed . Our hosting partners comply with industry-standard certifications and controls.
Backups are stored within the same cloud environment and are replicated to a secondary location for resilience and disaster recovery, following our internal retention and backup policies.
We do not store your data on local servers, personal devices, or third-party systems outside of those required to operate the Service. Any processing performed by approved third-party services (such as optional AI features) follows strict confidentiality and security requirements and adheres to the same or higher security standards.
We take security seriously and follow strong internal controls, including SOC2-aligned processes. Our measures include encrypted connections, strict access controls, secure development practices, monitoring, and incident response. Sensitive data is encrypted at rest.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no online system can guarantee complete security.
We keep your data for as long as your account remains active. After account closure or inactivity, data is retained for a reasonable period for backup, operational continuity, and compliance purposes.

Your data may be stored or processed in countries where our infrastructure or service providers operate. All providers we work with follow strict security and privacy standards.

Bugasura is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
