Bugasura’s current signup process does not validate user emails. Notifying users of this causes bounce problems. This new update prevents this from happening though email validation.

Introducing Email Validation Enhancement

To reduce email bounces, we are launching a frictionless method of user email validation:

What this improves?

1. Onboarding remains seamless.
2. We’ll monitor bounced emails.
3. Accounts bouncing once, trigger a verification process.

Why should you use it?

This improvement reduces email bouncing problems, guarantees efficient communication by verifying user emails, and preserves a seamless user experience.

Usage

1. Users who log in will see a popup asking for email verification after one bounce.
2. Select ‘Change Email ID’ or ‘Get OTP’.
3. The email address can be updated by selecting “Change Email ID.”
4. “Get OTP” causes an OTP to be sent to the specified email address.
5. For validation, enter the OTP within 10 minutes.
6. If verification is successful, usage is seamless. If not, an email validation popup appears and requests a retry.
